Nobody Is Greater Than the Living God

Today during my quiet time with the Lord, he reminded me that nobody is greater than him. He has revealed things to me concerning my family and bloodline to reveal answers to questions and to clarify things I've wondered about. This is not to discourage, overwhelm or condemn me. We have to have the right perspective.
The first level of deliverance is Salvation. From this, we're given authority in every area of our lives to kick Satan out everytime we find him! Luke 11:22 talks about "someone stronger" than the strongman. Well, that someone is CHRIST! Praise the Lord! As we walk in the authority given to us by Jesus, we can shut down the works of the devil. Satan only recognizes the authority of Jesus. Nothing else.
Remember, Satan is a criminal. He doesn't willingly go. He steals, kills, and destroys. He stays operating, lurking, and defiling until found out and cast out! God reveals/exposes the works of darkness so that we can shut it down with our authority obtained by the Blood of Jesus! Hallelujah! We are partners with the Almighty God.  There are two distinct events in the life of Jesus that really encouraged me. One was the time Jesus delivered a boy from what we would call today, epilepsy (Matthew 17:15). The other is when he delivered the man with a legion of demons inside of him (Luke 8:30). The first account I mentioned revealed to me that it doesn't matter how long a demon or issue has been present, it CANNOT stand against the power of the Lord when confronted. The second, shows that it doesn't matter how many stand against the living God, they will fall & bow to his supremacy.
We have power through the Holy Spirit. We have authority in Christ Jesus. God expects each and every Believer to walk in what Christ has secured for us. Do not fear the enemy. Instead, stand firm in the grace, love, power and authority of our loving eternal Father & set captives free.
 Be blessed!
