The natural is a reflection of the spiritual. Our spirit has been reborn. Spiritual first, then natural.When we were an enemy of God, we were citizens of the kingdom of darkness, and as a result, we received what was rightfully ours: poverty, curses, sickness,etc...Because we are alive in Christ (if you are born again) we are no longer poor. We are rich in the spirit. All things are ours. We only have to believe and trust. Because God is our Father, and we are in fellowship with him, we have everything we need.
Poverty, lack, sickness, etc... are apart of the old man and old life. Those are not symptoms of the new man or new life in Christ. Take a good long look at the fruit you are bringing forth in your life. Is it coming from the new or old man? If the fruit is coming from the old man, what changes are you thinking need to be made so you can grow & exhibit fruit produced by allowing the Spirit of God to govern your new man?
