In the times we are living in today, and the way the system of the world is set up, love is taken very lightly and little value is placed on it. Love is often measured by things and feelings; how you feel from one minute to the next. But, how many of you know that FEELINGS CHANGE!
One thing I love about the Lord is He never changes. Isaiah 54:10 is a promise! I have read this scripture countless times, and I tell you that it JUST hit me the other day! In this scripture, God talks about the hills falling to pieces and the mountains walking away, but His love and peace will never walk away from us or fall to pieces! And if that wasn't convincing enough, He says it AGAIN in the new Testament! Romans 8:35 states that NOTHING can ever separate us from the love of God!
So, even though we may go through things and the world may seem like it is being completely torn apart, and shaken, we can have blessed assurance and confidence in the love of our covenant keeping God! if that is not enough to make your heart just burst into singing, I don't know what does.
I pray that you are blessed today, especially those who are feeling alone, going through, and feel as if nobody cares. The word of God says that even though the hills may fall to pieces, and the mountains walk away, His everlasting covenant of peace will never be taken from you!
