When mercy is rejected, judgment is chosen by default. If we reject Christ's sacrifice we're basically saying we don't need it. All that's left is judgment because someone has to pay. God never eradicated that point. Christ paid it but rejection is basically saying "No, I'll pay for it myself". Like riding in a 🚕 taxi; somebody has to pay the fare. If my friend offers but I reject their offer, the fare still needs to be paid. It's just a matter of WHO will pay it. Will I pay or will I accept my friend's generous offer & let them pay? Christ paid it all. He has taken the full punishment for my transgression. He defeated Satan. It's a matter of faith. Satan desires to keep that truth away from us so he can continue to operate in our lives unhindered. So through our own ignorance Satan can have us bound infecting our whole life😳. Christ is the door. Without Christ, Satan has a legal right to afflict etc...Christ is our only hope. We keep company w/demons & darkness when we reject the perfect sacrifice of Jesus. Therefore, 2Cor.6:14 is right. Demons are linked to the carnal man. Usually where there is the carnal nature at play- demons are not far...
Satan is the master over the disobedient. Not Jesus. When under Satan's rule, all his afflictions are "legal". Basically "we get what we get". That is not God's will for our lives though. He desires that we have life and have it more abundantly. To deny Christ is to accept curses. There is no in between.
When we entertain ANY aspect concerning the enemy, it invites him in. Our flesh works in league with Satan! Therefore it is important to guard our hearts 🔐❤. Bitterness, pride, unforgiveness, hate, fornication etc...invites him in. Taking authority over our flesh is also taking authority over Satan, who is thr ruler/ master of the flesh A.K.A. carnal nature! Giving into our carnal lusts too many times can cause daimonization! That's why we have to put off the old man consistently with the help of the Holy Spirit, and put on the new man!!Remember, Satan is always looking for a way in!
Lord, thank you for the sacrifice of Christ. Thank you for allowing him to become sin for us and pay the debt we could not pay. Help us thru the power of your Holy Spirit to bring into subjection every area in our lives that is not reflecting you. IJN!
