Careful Who You're Listening To

Our souls have two voices speaking: Satan's (or carnal nature) and God's. Who it listens to shows up in our actions! It's a daily choice- and in our renewed self we must depend on the Holy Spirit; never on ourselves. Our soul's "ears" should always be "tuned" into the Spirit of God. It's a decision of the will BUT it is a decision to CONSTANTLY submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Even after being saved, Father God does not take away free will. So daily we need to be submitting to the Holy Spirit within us.

Lord, according to Romans 6:12, we choose not to allow sin to reign over us, but with the help of your precious Holy Spirit we will  allow Christ to reign by mortifying the deeds of our flesh!
