Lesson Learned

Today as I sat in my classroom,I was reminded of a word the Lord had given me just yesterday!"Love heals sin in yourself and others"I wasn't really feeling that at the time because someone had just gone out of their way to be just plain flat out ugly!As I sat there asking the Lord to give me strength and help me to do what was right,even though I didn't want to,I was approached by another young lady who told me about an issue she was having.I immediately forgot about what I had just experienced moments before to become and active listener.As I listened,I realized that what I was experiencing was not half as bad as what this lady was gong through so I let it go and was able to help this lady who was going through what I had been brought through years before.As the Lord used me to encourage this lady,I felt a surge of love for the person who had been ugly moments before.I am so glad God in all his wisdom gave me that word to lean on knowing I'd go through that test today!Going through that taught me to be about my Father's business and trust him to do the rest and take care of me.And He did just that.As he used me to help the lady he gave me peace through praising and lifting up his name to deal with my situation.So I was able to speak in love to the one who had been ugly and be freed from any hold from bitterness!Thank you Jesus
